Raipur: Renowned film director Anubhav Sinha, who has directed Bollywood films including Thappad, Tum Bin, Tum Bin-02 is going to shoot his next in Chhattisgarh.
As per official sources, the location of shooting has been finalized. The shooting of the film will take place in Raipur, Kanker and Rajnandgaon districts. The director will show rural environment through this film. A seven member team of Anubhav Gupta reached Raipur a few days back. They met advisor of State Planning Commission Gaurav Dwivedi and inquired about the best location of the state. After which the team has finalized the location by visiting different places of the state for about a week.
The team had also met the Director of Culture Department Vivek Acharya while reaching Raipur. Gaurav informed the team about the film policy of Chhattisgarh, which was well-appreciated by the team. The team has also praised the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel for this film policy.
Anubhav will focus mainly on the rural areas of the state in his film and he may visit Chhattisgarh soon. Shooting of the film may be started from May month. However, the names of actors have not been finalized yet. Also the name of film has not been revealed, said the sources.
Meanwhile, since the formulation of film policy, directors from across the country are coming to Chhattisgarh for shooting their films. Director Sudhir Mishra is the show stopper of web series which is being shot in Chhattisgarh.
