Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has greeted the people of the state on the
auspicious occasion of Ram Navami. He has wished for the happiness and prosperity
of the people of the state on this occasion. Mr. Baghel has said that Ram
Navami, the birthday of Maryada Purushottam Lord Ram, is celebrated with
enthusiasm all over the country. It is a matter of pride and joy for
Chhattisgarh that Kaushalya Mata’s Dham has been the maternal home of ancient
South Kosal Shri Ram. Lord Ram had spent most of his exile here.
has said that the state government is developing the path through which Lord
Ram had passed in Chhattisgarh during the exile period; The path is being
developed into ‘Ram Van Gaman Tourism Circuit’ which is an epitome of religious
tourism. 75 places have been identified under the project. In the first phase, the work of developing 9
places has been started. First of all, the temple of Kaushalya Mata located in
Chandkhuri is the birthplace of Mata Kaushalya which has been renovated and the
temple complex has been beautified.
Shivrinarayan, the city of Mata Shabri, is also being developed along the
same lines. The Chief Minister said that the country and the world would soon
be able to get acquainted with the splendid and religious significance of the
places where Lord Ram laid his feet in Chhattisgarh.
